Ladies Player Recruitment 2021-22

We are pleased to announce that Barry Town Utd Ladies are now accepting registrations of interest for our upcoming 'Open Training Sessions' taking place in June & July 2021.

With the news that our Ladies have been selected to play at Tier 1 level for the new season following a restructure of the Women’s game in Wales, we are now looking for ambitious and experienced players to join our senior & U19 teams.

The sessions are open for anyone aged 16+ from 1st September 2021 and will take place at Jenner Park Stadium in Barry, CF62 9BG.

Our open training sessions take place on Thursday’s from 6:00-7:30

  • Thursday 10th June
  • Thursday 17th June
  • Thursday 24th June
  • Thursday 1st July

Players who are unable to attend these dates can register anyway and we will be in touch to offer alternative arrangements. Once you have registered, we will be in touch to give you more information and answer any questions you may have.

What do I need to bring?

  • A comfortable/suitable kit for training
  • Moulded boots (For a 3G surface)
  • Drink

The Player Package
We at Barry Town Utd Ladies are a community focused football club, inspiring young female players to engage in the sport and develop through our pathway and into our senior section. We currently have over 200 female players within our setup starting from age 5 right the way through to our senior team. We also have an outstanding track record of player development with over 30 players representing Wales at Junior, Youth and Senior level in the last 6 years.

We also have ambitious targets as part of our new strategy to become the ‘leading women’s team in Wales’ by 2026.
